Exempt Refugees from the 10-Year Settlement Requirement and Reinstate the 5-Year

Petition Details

We urge the UK to exempt refugees from the 10-year settlement rule, restore the fair 5-year route, and improve fingerprint/data-sharing agreements to manage irregular migration without harming genuine refugees.

Additional Information

Purpose of the Petition:

To ensure fairness, stability, and humane treatment for refugees, while supporting effective management of irregular migration.

Our appeal to the Government:

To reconsider these policy changes and adopt an approach that protects vulnerable people, strengthens integration, and upholds the UK’s long-standing commitment to humanitarian protection.
