Make it fair and non-discriminatory Keep the 5Year Qualifying Period for Carers.
Care Workers are the backbone of the UK’s care system. Every day, they support our elderly, our disabled, and our most vulnerable community members. They fill essential roles that are already in critical shortage, and they contribute socially, economically, and emotionally to our communities.
We reject any attempt to make Care Workers the scapegoat for new immigration policies.
Portraying them as “low-skilled” or economically insignificant ignores the reality: our entire care system relies on their dedication, expertise, and compassion.
Care Workers deserve recognition, not stigma.
