Papa's Diner - an American Diner produced by local artist eccythump , designed by local design company Tatlow , funded by local restaurant owners in a deprived northern town which suffers from a lack of investment is being stifled by the planning department and told without compromise to remove the sign.

We have produced a new shop front in a conservation area which borders shop fronts which have white PVC frames, rotten timber signs, plaster falling off , and is generally dilapidated...

So how this isn't a massive improvement is beyond us. We need support to counter archaic legislation, to reach a compromise.
