Petition Action

Abolish CIS deduction for traffic marshalling and small relevant construction

Petition Details

Traffic Marshalling, small constructors, are only small operators in the business. Companies already are registered now as companies house have compulsory biometric. With 20% CIS registration and 20% VAT many companies risk collapse once all other expense deductions are made

Additional Information

The Government should abolish or set a minimum earning threshold for small operators, in construction or traffic marshalling for the CIS, as already paying 20% VAT, adding onto this 20% or 30% deductions they risk rendering these small companies obsolete, due to operational impossibility.

Let us add the high cost of living for these small companies, resulting in operational impossibility due to high compliance.
