Parliamentary Petition for Accountability Regarding Misuse of Public Funds.

Petition Details

We,the undersigned,call upon Parliament to take immediate action to ensure accountability among Members of Parliament & civil servants for the misuse of public funds.All public servants must be accountable to the British taxpayers whom they serve.
All points below relate MPs,public, civil servants.

Additional Information

1.Independent committees to investigate & evaluate financial decisions by MPs/CS/PS that may or already have increased national debt.
2.Guidelines for responsibilities regarding public funds and consequences for non-compliance including transparency.
3.Dissolve quangos and NGOs not elected by the public. ensuring that public funds are managed by accountable representatives of the electorate.
4.Forfeit pensions for MPs/CS/PS dismissed for misconduct in public office or related to public funds.

We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. There are already mechanisms to scrutinise the spending of public money. For example, the Public Accounts Committee scrutinises Government financial accounts as well as value for money.
