Petition Action

Hold an immediate Vote of No Confidence in H.M. Government.

Petition Details

We call on the House of Commons to schedule a debate and vote on a motion of no confidence. The Government has abandoned its manifesto commitments and is pursuing damaging economic policies without a mandate. Parliament must now test if the Government still holds the confidence of the House.

Additional Information

The current administration was elected on specific manifesto pledges which have been abandoned. They are now pursuing unmandated policies that are causing severe economic instability and threatening a deep recession. The social contract between the Government and the electorate is broken. Parliament must act to hold the Executive to account. The public deserves a General Election to choose who leads the country through this crisis.
