STOP the bill for Judge only trial's

Petition Details

STOP the bill started by David Lammy, to push for Judge Only trial's. This will remove the public rights for a fair trial with a jury of your peers as stated by the English Constitution.

Additional Information

A new government bill is being proposed to limit jury trials in England and Wales, allowing for judge-only trials in serious cases to tackle the backlog in the criminal courts. Proposed by the Ministry of Justice, the bill aims to restrict jury trials to more serious offenses, such as murder and rape, while allowing judges to hear a wider range of cases alone.
