People convicted of violent and sexual offences should not receive remission

Additional Information

People convicted of violent offences against the person or of sexual offences should not be allowed remission as their crimes often cause permanent physical and psychological trauma to their victims. Offenders who perpetrate these crimes are often not repentant and are a real danger to the public. They should not receive any concessions.
