Petition Action

Make 'Tragedy Chanting' online a specific criminal offence

Petition Details

I wish for the Government/Parliament to legislate to make the act of Tragedy Chanting/Posting on-line a specific criminal offence.
Provide police and the CPS with the powers to prosecute such triggering and traumatising acts.

Additional Information

As a survivor of the Hillsborough Disaster, I have felt, and witnessed the consequences of people using football disasters, to mock others, leading to being triggered and sent into depression.
This is to try and prevent these actions becoming the norm in today's society.
This is NOT banter, It's trauma for ALL survivors, of ALL disasters. I wish to make the football world a safer place for other survivors like myself.
