Deploy the army and use armed weapons of force to tackle rioting and civil disorder
In light of the very recent events in Tottenham and other areas of London, Bristol and Liverpool, the government should stop talking and do something about it.
This petition proposes that in the event of rioting and civil disorder, our Armed Forces be immediately brought back from wherever they are and be deployed to tackle the situation. They and the police should be allowed to use whatever force is necessary to restore law and order and maintain it.
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
There's already a petition about this issue. We cannot accept a new petition when we already have one about a very similar issue.
You are more likely to get action on this issue if you sign and share a single petition.
