Re open Blackpool airport
Would like Blackpool airport to re open and attract airlines to the north with incentives make the north into a northern powerhouse as they have been talking about.
Support regional connectivity as it would boost local transport and improve jobs in the local area and have jobs all year roumd
Reopening Blackpool Airport as a dedicated hub for holiday makers would provide convenient, low-cost travel. With a focus on easy access, family-friendly facilities, and partnerships with budget airlines and travel companies, the airport would increase visitor numbers to Blackpool, stimulate local businesses, and generate employment opportunities. Improve transport links to the airport and town, and nearby regions would make Blackpool an attractive and accessible holiday destination once again
