Keep the right to Trial by Jury
Ban jury trials for most offences
Trial by Jury has been the absolute right of the Englishman (and subsequently all the citizens of the United Kingdom) since Magna Carta on June 15th 1215, where it states that a man shall be assessed 'on oath of reputable men of the neighbourhood' (British Museum translation).
The shambolic state of the bureaucracy of Justice is no reason to change the rights of the citizen, it is a reason to change the shambolic bureaucracy.
We demand that the right to a Trial by Jury.
