Let First time buyers use their LISA to build a house
Currently Self builders can use their LISA to buy land, but they can't use it for the building itself. This disproportionately affects people who are looking to buy a cheaper land and have enough funds to buy the land outright, but need mortgage for the build itself.
It would help people who would like to build their own house, which is important as we have a shortage of housing.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. It's already possible to use a LISA towards a mortgage to buy land and associated costs to build a home. We're therefore not exactly sure what changes to the current rules you'd like to see.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
