The future of the Palace of Westminster should be put to a referendum
"In 2012 the House of Commons Commission and the House Committee of the House of Lords agreed to commission a comprehensive, independent assessment, including costs, of a range of options for the restoration and renewal of the Palace of Westminster."
The panel has ruled out moving from Westminster Palace and whereas this petition makes no case for any option on the future of the seat of the British government, it does ask that any decision should be made by method of a general referendum of the British people and citizens of all British dependencies.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
This is a matter for the House of commons not for Government
