Statistics consistently show that the vast majority of all road accidents, including those involving cars and HGVs, are attributed to human factors and are therefore preventable.
General road safety studies suggest that approximately 97% of all road accidents are preventable. Safety experts emphasise that managing road risk and improving driver behaviour through training can significantly reduce incident rates.
