Ban Social Media for Under-16's in the United Kingdom
The Government should implement a ban on the use of social media for those aged under sixteen, in the interest of protecting them from harmful content, preventing inhibition of social development and improving integration into society.
The younger generations are truly suffering from the overuse of social media, which is fuelling a rise in mental health issues, cases of bullying and examples of children being exposed to inappropriate content online. This must be addressed urgently.
