Equal Definitions for All Faith Prejudices, Not Only Islamophobia
We ask Parliament to create official, equal definitions for prejudice against all faiths, not only Islamophobia, so Christians, Jews, Sikhs, Hindus, and others are equally protected under law and public policy.
Only Islamophobia has an official definition, leaving other faiths unprotected. This creates bias, weakens equality, and risks inconsistent safeguarding. Parliament should establish definitions for all faith prejudices with the same strength as Islamophobia, ensuring fair treatment, legal clarity, accountability, and equal protection.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Under the Equality Act 2010, all religions including Christianity, Judaism, Sikhism, Hinduism, Islam, and others are protected equally as “religion or belief.”
