Review traffic enforcement policies & mandate bolder signage & advance warnings
To protect vulnerable motorists the Government should require councils to consider hardship and mental health in traffic enforcement action. It should review current enforcement policies to ensure they are proportionate, humane, and safe.
I also want to ensure there is bolder signage & advance warnings for restricted roads.
This petition seeks fairness, compassion, and a system that supports, not punishes ordinary people making honest mistakes. The pressure on low income families is immense, and we feel the impact emotionally and mentally can be disproportionate and inhumane.
Please support this petition so that no one else suffers financial hardship, emotional distress, or threat to their wellbeing because of PCN enforcement.
If you want to sign this petition (as opposed to merely discuss it), you need to do that on the government's e-Petitions website.
