Two Level Human Rights Act

There is too much hiding behind the Human Rights Act. It should become law that anyone committing a crime loses all but their basic rights (not being tortured, access to basic amenities etc.)

There is too much pandering to the criminal element in society as seen in the "hands off" approach by the police in the recent rioting in London. We need a two stage Human Rights Act - you commit a crime and you lose all but your very basic rights
