Leaders debate
We the undersigned, believe that three debates between the leaders of parties with at least 5% of the seats in the previous Westminster Parliament General Election should be broadcast on television and radio at peak times after the Parliament has been prorogued and election manifestos have been published.
Similar debates should be held in Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales, featuring the leaders of the parties with seats in those regional assemblies or Parliaments having won at least 5% of the seats at the last election.
Any party failing to publish a manifesto before the relevant debates Should be excluded from all but one of the debates.
The Government is requested to enact the legislation described above, prior to the proroguation of the Westminster Parliament for the May 2015 General Election
