Repeal of the 2003 Licensing Act
Since the 2003 Licensing act came into force, allowing extended hours for sales of alcohol, disorder and drunken behaviour has become widespread in many town centres in the early hours of weekends. This behaviour places undesirable pressure upon the police and A&E hospital departments. Licensing hours for pubs and clubs need to be urgently reviewed and restored to those typically seen before 2005.
