Petition Action

Review rising costs & financial pressures on the UK hospitality sector

Petition Details

We call on the Government to launch a review into rising costs facing UK hospitality, including National Insurance, minimum wage, VAT, business rates and supplier costs. We are concerned these pressures could threaten jobs, high streets and the survival of hospitality businesses.

Additional Information

The UK hospitality industry is vital to the economy, employing millions and providing accessible jobs, particularly for young people entering the workforce. It generates significant tax revenue through VAT, income tax and National Insurance, supports local supply chains, boosts tourism and creates employment opportunities across the wider economy.
