Give father access to birth registration appointment if present at the birth

Petition Details

This is not anti-mother it is pro-child! This petition does not seek to remove or weaken mothers’ rights. It seeks to recognise responsible fathers equally, reduce conflict, and protect the best interests of children. Good fathers who show up from day one should not be treated as legally optional.

Additional Information

We urge the Government to introduce legislation that automatically provides biological fathers who attend the birth with access to birth registration appointment, where paternity is undisputed.
