Instant and permanent driving ban for failing a blood alcohol concentration test

Petition Details

Instant and permanent driving ban for having a blood alcohol concentration test over the legal limit, such as a breathalyser test. There is no excuse for driving under the influence. There should be a one strike and you're out policy.

Additional Information

If the culprit has been caught by the police, it often won't be their first time offending. Drink driving costs lives. If they're fleeing danger, they can call 999 or call a taxi if they need to travel.
