Make St David's Day a Bank holiday in Wales

Petition Details

We want the UK Government and Parliament to grant Wales a statutory bank holiday on March 1st to celebrate St. David’s Day.

Additional Information

St. David’s Day is a vital part of Welsh culture and identity, yet we think Wales is not given the same recognition as Scotland and Northern Ireland, where their patron saints’ days are marked with bank holidays. We believe the UK Government should grant Wales a bank holiday on March 1st to celebrate our national heritage.
