Create a law that all Governments (current & future) stick to their manifesto

Petition Details

I urge the government to create a new law that forces all Governments (current & future) must stick to their manifesto.

If the Government wanted to bring in something new not on the manifesto they would ask the public to vote, if 60% of voters vote yes, the Governments plan is brought in.

Additional Information

This new law would help all British citizens and Members of the public be shown true transparency when voting.

If the law is created and the Government breaks it by not following the manifesto or not announcing a public vote on their plan they should be fined personally (not government or party).

Any Party or Government should be in favour of this suggested law as at the end of the day why shouldn’t they be speaking truth of what change they want in our county before we vote them.
