Approve dualling scheme for the A120 between Marks Tey and Braintree in Essex

Petition Details

This petition calls on the government to put the A120 dualling scheme for the stretch between Braintree and Marks Tey back on the table.
This follows the strength of public opinion following the launch of the Colchester Gazette's newspaper campaign A120: Road to Safety.

Additional Information

The A120 continues to impact lives and livelihoods in north and mid Essex and our readers have told us how improvements are desperately needed.
Why? It's simple.
* People are continuing to lose their lives due to the poor road conditions
* Residents’ lives and their homes are constantly blighted by the traffic
* The county’s economic growth is being stunted by lack of a suitable highway
Action must be taken NOW.
