Protect Access to Lawful Digital Platforms
Call on Parliament to respect that UK governments are elected to serve the people, not to control lawful speech. Adults must retain the right to access legal digital platforms, with any restrictions subject to democratic consent and full parliamentary scrutiny.
In the UK, governments are elected to serve the people, not to rule them. Their role is to protect stability, rights, and public trust—not to decide which lawful information adults may access. If the people oppose a policy, that voice matters. Banning a lawful platform would undermine democratic consent and set a precedent where public will is overridden by executive control.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. We don't know what you mean by "lawful digital platforms".
