School should start at 9:15 and end at 2:30 to boost student well-being.
School should start at 9:15 and finish at 2:30 to support student well-being. Later start times help teens sleep properly, improve focus, and boost morale, while shorter days reduce stress and create a healthier, more productive learning environment for all students.
We want Parliament to support changing school hours to 9:15–2:30 because student well-being is a national concern. Teens need adequate sleep to learn effectively, stay healthy, and maintain morale. By adjusting school hours, Parliament can set a positive example, reduce stress, improve focus, and help students across the country reach their full potential

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Decisions about what time the school day starts and ends are a matter for schools, not the UK Government or Parliament.
You may wish to sign some of the petitions that we already have open about the school day.
