Petition Details

I want the government to give the people living in red route a pass that allows us to be able to park near my home. Every day from 7am-7pm I cannot park. This is my home yet I’m having to park miles away and then get transport.

Change the rules around parking.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

We can only accept petitions about things the Government or Parliament are directly responsible for.

Decisions about parking in London are a matter for Transport for London and local councils, not the UK Government or Parliament.

You could raise your issue with Transport for London or a local councillor who represents you. You can use this page to find out who your local councillors are, and how to contact them: www.gov.uk/find-your-local-councillors

You could also ask your MP to take action on your concerns about this issue. You can find contact details for your local MP here: members.parliament.uk/FindYourMP
