Ban VAR in football.

Petition Details

Legislate to outlaw the use of Video Assistant Refereeing (VAR) in domestic football matches, with the exception of goal line technology.

Additional Information

VAR is ruining the beautiful game, particularly for the match going fan. It is interfering in instances which are not clear and obvious errors, taking far too long to reach decisions, and in many cases still getting decisions wrong. It should be abandoned (or banned), and matches should be officiated how they were, mostly successfully, for 150 years.
