Change policy and to treat artifical flavouring and colours like allergens on food labelling.
Carcinogenicity:Some flavorings, like certain smoke flavorings in the EU and chemicals.
Genotoxicity: Substances that damage DNA (genotoxic) are a major concern.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. Asking for a ban contradicts the ask to treat artifical flavouring and colours like allergens on food labelling. We are therefore not sure which approach you want to take.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
