Investigate the service performance of couriers & enforce minimum standards.
Investigate courier service's performance and complaint handling.
Introduce and enforce minimum standards for courier services.
Apply penalties or corrective measures where standards are not met.
Ensure customers have meaningful protection and recourse.
Across the UK, customers regularly experience lost, delayed, damaged, or misdelivered parcels, alongside an ongoing lack of customer support. Customers report being unable to speak to real people, receiving generic automated responses, or having legitimate complaints closed without resolution.
Repeated service failures should trigger regulatory scrutiny, companies must be held to enforceable standards, and customers should have access to human customer support and fair compensation processes.
