Force supermarkets to donate in-date and non-expired food to local charities.

Petition Details

Make it an offence for supermarkets to throw away in-date, non-expired and consumable foodstuffs (including drinks). Make it compulsory to donate such items to charities local to each supermarket branch.

Additional Information

The food waste is a scandal. Similar laws have already been enacted abroad.
