Review need for a national standard of care for children with cerebral palsy

Petition Details

NHS England introduced a Cerebral Palsy Commissioning Framework in 2025, but it has only been piloted in some Integrated Care Boards and not adopted nationwide.

Additional Information

We call for full implementation of a national minimum standard of care, guaranteeing access to therapy, orthopaedics, complex movement clinics, named care coordinators, early intervention, clear waiting times, and support for UK research including stem cell trials. These changes could be known as Frankie's Future.

Many children still face a postcode lottery for care, with families forced to fight for support during crucial early years.
