Protect Skilled Care Workers Affected by Sponsor Licence Revocation

Petition Details

Grant care workers affected by sponsor licence revocation a 1–2 year transition visa to secure alternative sponsored employment, with no recourse to public funds, and protect housing and children’s education during this period.

Additional Information

Care workers on Skilled Worker visas lose their status through no fault of their own when sponsor licences are revoked.Short curtailment periods lead to sudden job loss, housing insecurity, high visa fees, forced relocation, and disruption to children’s education. These workers have filled critical shortages and served communities diligently. A time-limited transition visa would be fair, prevent exploitation, reduce family hardship, and retain skilled carers in a sector already facing challenges.
