Petition Action

Ban employers from requiring job applicants to have an address

Petition Details

In the UK, it's difficult for the homeless to find work, as employers may dismiss their applications as there is no address. We want the government to make it illegal for employers to dismiss these applications for not having an address.

Additional Information

Homeless people already struggle with finding jobs, we want to make it easier for them to find a job and financially support themselves to eventually make it out of homelessness. Without a permanent or temporary address, and the employers potentially dismissing their applications as a result, homeless people can't get back on their feet and are left to suffer on the streets. Homeless people should be given a chance to get back on their feet, and live the life they've wanted.
