Scrap the under 16 ban for social media from coming into place
Scrap the possibility of bringing a law banning under-16’s from social media with certain apps like; TikTok , snapchat , twitter , instagram and etc.
Social media can positively impact teenagers and children by enhancing communication, creativity, and learning. It allows them to stay connected with friends and family, express themselves, and access educational content. Social media fosters a sense of community, promoting social skills and self-expression. Rather than banning it for under-16s, we should focus on educating them about responsible use, setting age-appropriate limits, and ensuring safe online spaces for healthy development.
