Petition Action

Increase police funding to tackle organised house robberies

Petition Details

We want the Government to increase police funding to give them more capacity to prioritise and take decisive action against organised house robbery gangs, improve response times and investigations, increase policing in high-risk areas, and take tougher action against repeat offenders.

Additional Information

We are concerned about house robberies, many incidents are widely shared on social media, and in too many cases, victims may receive little or no follow-up from police. We believe this lack of effective action allows organised gangs to operate repeatedly, leaving residents feeling unsafe and unprotected in their own homes.
