Petition Action

Review the way media outlets inc online/social media report about suicide deaths

Petition Details

Conduct a review with the aim to protect the welfare of families left behind after someone dies by suicide and consider what legislation is necessary.

Additional Information

Currently, some media outlets and reporters attend scenes/inquests and report what they like. Sometimes information can be factually incorrect, which can cause further harm and suffering. This can include children.

Any new law in relation to this could be called "Levi's Law".
