Allow children and teens to have an extended amount of time off school when sick
Extend time off for the wellbeing of children and teens
Children and teens who are sick only get to have 5 days off school out of the year until they are fined so this time should be extended to 2 weeks or 3 out of the year has children and teens are forced to go into school sick causing more youths to gain sick and be fined placing payments on parents who are on benefits who cant suppourt the payment

5 days is the threshold for fines for unauthorised absence, not sickness.
Schools may request evidence for repeated illness, but they cannot fine parents for legitimate sickness.
