Extend the Driving Theory Test Expiry date

Petition Details

We believe learner drivers are being penalised having to retake their driving theory test due to long waiting times for practical Driving Tests. The Government needs to extend the 2-year rule, or consider abolishing the expiry altogether.

Additional Information

Learner drivers are being told that the 2 year rule keeps their knowledge current but we have seen no evidence that doing this test every two years keeps anything current. Extend or Abolish the 2 Year Rule now to give learner drivers hope.
