Raise the retirement age of MP’s in line with the state pension age.

Petition Details

Improves fairness and equality in society by ensuring those changing legislation affecting millions of pensioners are subject to the same changes.
Reduces the cost of funding to the government as a pensionable age of 60 years is now unaffordable according to the government.

Reflects modern longevity and working lives. Fairness and consistency as aligning MP’s pensions with the state pension avoids a perception that MP’s are treated differently from the public they serve.
