Fund travel reimbursements for families of children with lifelong conditions

Petition Details

Provide funding for travel reimbursements for all families of children with lifelong conditions who are attending specialist centres for their conditions, similar to the scheme for paediatric cancer patients.

Additional Information

Long term health conditions, such as heart conditions and other unique conditions, mean that families may have to travel miles to specialist centres. These costs can be crippling if your child needs regular hospital admissions and outpatient appointments. We want the Government to fund reimbursements of these costs to families who are affected.
