Petition Action

Fund free therapy access for students in all schools

Petition Details

We would like the Government to ensure students have full access to therapeutic help if they are struggling with their mental wellbeing or anxiety due to stress placed upon them from any exams, such as mocks or GSCEs, by providing funding for free therapy.

Additional Information

Certain studies have shown that depression or mental loneliness have been rapidly increasing due to pressure from teachers or bullying. All this stress can build up within students and result in tensions with bullies, resulting in fights which can lead to detentions and negative social consequences. We feel this doesn’t help as punishments can then take up time which could be used for revision.
