Make teaching the dangers of the oversexualisation of women compulsory for KS4/5
We would like the dangers and consequences of oversexualisation of women added to the curriculum at KS4/5 so that young people can understand how this can affect victims in the short and long term. This is important as it can raise awareness for young people who many not recognise this issue.
In our view, the Government have a responsibility to support the physical and mental health of young people, and although this is already taught in some schools at KS5, not all young people receive this important part of their education as they may not study at Sixth Form Colleges and by including it lower in school it could help to prevent issues of oversexualisation.
If you want to sign this petition (as opposed to merely discuss it), you need to do that on the government's e-Petitions website.
