Launch an inquiry into road maintenance & publish road tax spending
We would like the Government to launch an inquiry into awful road conditions and what can be done to make them more reliable in the future. The inquiry should investigate the materials and companies involved in building roads, and finding better solutions, as we feel our roads are not suitable.
Road tax statistics should also be published to show where they money is being used. Many people all over the UK experience the same issues with roads falling apart and not lasting a significant length of time. Potholes are rife and are causing significant damage to vehicles in many areas. The cost of living is already high for many and having more reliable roads could mean less money being spent on car repairs that are becoming more expensive to fix.
If you want to sign this petition (as opposed to merely discuss it), you need to do that on the government's e-Petitions website.
