Automatically suspend PR when a parent is convicted of child murder/serious harm

Petition Details

Current legislation ensures the automatic suspension of parental responsibility (PR) in cases where one parent murders another.

However, there is currently NO automatic suspension of PR when a parent is convicted of seriously harming or murdering their child.

Additional Information

I'm asking the government to create 'Charlie's Law' to spare families the pain of perpetrators being able to maintaining influence and power over their children from prison.

Please support my campaign for Charlie’s Law and sign and share this petition.
