The government to initiate phased sanctions against the state of Israel.
To apply phased sanctions on goods and services exported from the UK to Israel and on goods and services imported to the UK from Israel.
Sanctions on named individuals have proven to be ineffective. The levels of violence against Palestinians has not been curtailed through these measures.
Having recognised the state of Palestine the UK government needs to take effective measures against the state of Israel to bring violence against Palestinians to an end.
