Petition Action

Legalise and regulate cannabis for adults across the United Kingdom

Petition Details

Introduce laws to legalise and regulate cannabis for adults in the UK. This should include licensed production and sale, strict age limits, product testing and labelling, restrictions on advertising, and taxation to fund the NHS, education and addiction services.

Additional Information

Cannabis is widely used in the UK despite being illegal, which allows the black market and organised crime to profit. Regulation would improve public safety through age checks, quality control and education. It would also reduce criminal records for minor possession and raise tax revenue for the NHS and support services.
